I made these drawings as part of storyboards for future animations. After drawing, I scannned and animated them in After Effects. To see the cloud moving, check out my animation page, here.
Here is a sketch I made as a personal project. I used Maya to model the tower and simulate the light on the surface. The rest is Photoshop.
